I saw a single male Eastern Bluebird at Dead Creek (Brilyea access) while walking on the trial that extends from the parking lot past the dam. That was in late march and since that time the temperatures had dropped again. I haven't been back there to see if it survived the cold weather.
When I was in South Carolina this winter working on a bluebird research project three dead bluebirds were found in Bluebird boxes (two in one box and one in another). It was assumed that the birds had not survived the extended cold snap.
I wonder if the cold spring we had this year is keeping the bluebirds away.

One gull was almost in full breeding plumage.
