On Tuesday evening, May 1, the GMAS will sponsor a program entitled "Alien 
Invaders!". Mike Winslow, who many of you know is a staff scientist for the Lake 
Champlain Committee and the President of Otter Creek Audubon, will present 
this program. Lake Champlain suffers from many problems, not the least of which 
is the influx of non-native species into the ecosystem. Mike will discuss his 
observations about the status of Lake Champlain's health and possible remedies.
 
This program will be held at the Carpenter-Carse Library in Hinesburg
