We have received reports from various locations around campus of
intermittent and spotty problems logging in to AD, accessing email,
calendar, web sites, and PeopleSoft. The most common problem reported
was AD login issues, but I suspect that is due to the fact that AD login
is the first event occuring on bootup on most systems.
We have not located any problem network equipment, and there are no
known problems with ETS hosts. At this time it appears that in many
areas the problem has resolved. Clearly something was not right but we
have not been able to determine the cause.
If anyone is still experiencing issues please have them contact network
services at x68888.
