A bit belated, but:
Monday morning I saw a PEREGRINE FALCON in Essex bulleting between Fort Ethan Allen and the Winooski River. I (and others) have seen a Coopers Hawk in this area a number of times, so when the bird revealed itself to be a falcon, it was a pleasant surprise.
Saturday morning a co-worker saw 2 SANDHILL CRANES on Quaker Village Road in Weybridge where the river comes closest to the road.
