Welcome back!!
We had a great executive meeting last night organizing our events for
this semeseter. There is a ton going on!:
Activities festival on sept. 5th in the Davis center 3rd floor from
9-3 (9-10 is set-up) There will be 3 group time slots where at least
2 EWB members must be present. 10-11:30; 11:30 - 1:30; 1:30-3:15.
Please email our secretary Jess back ASAP for when you are available

I will be there from 9-11:30
We will be using a projector to run a slide show of our Nicaragua
pics, selling t-shirts, and raffling off an old town kayak! - Thanks
to Sebastian
We will announce the winner of the kayak Dec. 6th at our first EWB
annual fundraising banquet.
Our first meeting will be on Sept. 10th in Perkins 211 @ 7:00.
We will introduce ourselves and have a short presentation set-up for
new members. We will also have t-shirts available. The professional
chapter will be meeting with us as well.
Jess is currently coordinating when to meet with the TAC and the
paperwork necessary to travel over Thanksgiving break. There is at
least a 2 month lead time.
Other events are:
Creating a budget for the dean
Paying our chapter dues to EWB-USA
Fall workshop at Rowan University, NJ Oct. 5-7
Awareness/ fundraising event for parents weekend Oct. 6&7
Presenting to the South Burlington Rotary Club - on standby
Does meeting on mondays at 7:30 work for most everyone's schedule? We
want to be able to meet at similar times to the professional chapter.
And Sunday nights for EWB executive meetings.
