Excuse the apparently silly or ignorant questions, please
1) >Use of c-IMT used as a tool for CV risk assessment
"CV risk assessment" does this mean "Coronary," and exclude "Cerebrovascular"?
Or does it mean "Stroke AND Heart Disease?"
2)>C-IMT should not be used as the only risk assessement tool,..
Is this terminology meant to be shorthand for "Carotid Intima-Medial Thickening"
(please correct if wrong), and is there a "X" IMT that is measured at
another vessel site that is compared with "c" IMT.
Thanks in advance,
