Hello Vermont Birders,

I am planning to head out to Vermont, New Hampshire or Maine the
weekend of Oct. 6th to photograph the fall colors and hopefully some
local woodpeckers and or owls for a book I am working on.

I would appreciate any information on the best places to combine these
two parsuits. Birds of  interest include all woodpeckers and owls and
Ruby-throated Hummingbirds if they are still around.  Although I am
interested in all woodpeckers and owls, the top of my list woudl
include; Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Black Back or Three-toed, Flicker,
Eastern Screech Owl and Northern Saw-whet.

I appreciate any information that you might be able to provide.
