Hi Eileen - I don't know how avidly you are into dragonflies, but I

which includes county level distribution charts and flight season info.
The flight season info is rough and needs some updating.  The county
level data is not quite up to date, but is pretty complete.  If you are
interested in particular species, let me know and I may have some site
suggestions.   

If you come through Whitehall NY area, there are a couple of places just
over the border into the "thumb" of Vermont that are good for birds,
leps and odes.

We will be visiting Vermont the first week of August.  My husband will
be birding while I am at a workshop in Mendon.  We plan to travel from
NJ on Thursday, allowing time to bird and butterfly on our way up.  We
will have Sunday in the area for more exploring prior to returning home.

We have birded in this area before, but this year I am interested in any
special places where I can look for butterflies and dragonflies.  Can
anyone help me out with locations/directions for some satisfactory
butterflying?  Are there any special species to be alert for during my
outings?
