Landscaping for Migrating Songbirds
Thursday, September 6, 7:00pm; donations welcome
Author and founder of Saving Birds Thru Habitat, Kay Charter, will present
an engaging program on the challenges faced by migratory bird populations
and how everyone can make a positive difference right in their own backyard.

 

The Nature of India
Friday, September 7, 7:00pm; Fee: $5
Learn about the natural history of India with naturalist George Kinter. A
slide tour of this amazing region will highlight its wealth of birds, tigers
and famous moghul monuments.

 

Fall Bird Walks
Fridays, September 7, 14, 21, 28, 7:00am; Fee: $5
September is the peak of fall songbird migration, and the woods and fields
along the North Branch are an excellent place to witness it. Come for an
early morning walk at the Nature Center to search for migrating warblers,
vireos, tanagers, thrushes and more.
