So a good day of birding in beautiful weather allowed for some of the  
following birds at Dead Creek Brilyea Access this morning.

1. Great Blue Heron
2. Turkey Vulture
3. SNOW GOOSE-- About 80 flew over and landed out of site while  
standing at the goose viewing platform
4. Canada Goose
5. American Wigeon
6. American Black Duck
7. Osprey
8. Bald Eagle (juvenile)
9. Northern Harrier
10. Red-tailed Hawk- Good look of one finishing a meal
11. AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVER-- at the good shorebird spot just past the  
goldenrod field
12. Greater Yellowlegs
13. Lesser Yellowlegs
14. Semipalmated Sandpiper
15. Least Sandpiper
16. Pectoral Sandpiper
17. DOWITCHER SP -- (3) in the same location as the golden-plover.  My  
guess is that they were Short-billed, but if anyone else happens to  
see them and can confirm their species, it would be good if you can  
e-mail me back.
18. RED-NECKED PHALAROPE-- swimming closer to the second parking lot,  
just past the bridge.
19. Ring-billed Gull
20. Belted Kingfisher
21. RED-BELLIED WOODPECKER (Heard only)
22. Hairy Woodpecker
23. Northern Flicker
24. Eastern Phoebe
25. Blue Jay
26. American Crow
27. Black-capped Chickadee
28. White-breasted Nuthatch
29. American Robin
30. Gray Catbird
31. European Starling
32. Yellow-rumped Warbler
33. Pine Warbler
34. Blackpoll Warbler
35. Savannah Sparrow
36. Song Sparrow
37. White-throated Sparrow
38. Red-winged Blackbird
39. PURPLE FINCH (Male)
40. American Goldfinch
41. House Sparrow
