Great day to be at Dead Creek, despite the rain (heavy at times).
Sharing the wetness with several other birders from Vermont and further
afield, we found 13 shorebird species (see below).
The aerial highlight was watching a Peregrine dive onto and kill a tree
swallow in midair, then loop back to scoop it up off the water.
