What a remarkable feat and how nice to read that report. I saw the
bar-tailed godwits in NZ in the spring of 2006, staging for their flight north.
Perhaps some of the many birds I saw included some with tags. What a remarkable
story. What a remarkable flight. Thanks Terry for the link!
