Charlotte Town Beach was quiet this morning with only a couple of
Killdeer on the beach, and nothing much flying on the lake due to
strong south winds. The fields back at the corner of Lake Rd. still
had a few shorebirds including 1 Pectoral Sandpiper and 1
Buff-breasted Sandpiper amongst the many Killdeer, plus one
unidentified (and likely never to be identified) shorebird being
slowly eaten by a Peregrine Falcon. Bon appetit!
