Here is a posting I forgot to send on the 15th (I'm sorry for the delay!):
At 9:30 this morning, my backyard held
Bay-breasted Warbler - 1
Nashville Warbler - 1
Red-eyed Vireo - 2
Red-breasted Nuthatch - 1
White-breasted Nuthatch - 2
Black-capped Chickadee - 3
Hermit Thrush - 1
Eastern Phoebe - 1
At 1:00 or so, my father spotted a Blackburnian Warbler in a flock that
dashed through my yard too fast for me to see anything in it.
At 4:45, a third flock moved through my yard; this one moved back and forth,
back and forth without immediately going anywhere, so I got a good look at it:
Nashville Warbler - 1 or 2
Black-throated Green Warbler - 1
Magnolia Warbler - 1
Black-capped Chickadee - about 8
Tufted Titmouse - 1
White-breasted Nuthatch - 1
Davie Rolnick
Rupert, VT
