Hey Jeanne Mance 2!

I hope you all had an awesome weekend and enjoyed the beautiful weather. I
had an awesome couple of days at home with my family. But, unfortunately I
received a phone call regarding vandalism in our building. For those of you
who have not seen or heard about the furniture rearrangement, last night
some individuals decided to stack up all of the T.V. lounge furniture ceiling
high. ***This email is not in any way trying to accuse but only to inform.***
What may seem like a harmless prank may not come across as one. The
reasons are listed below.

*SAFETY*: that furniture is VERY heavy and could possibly kill someone if it
fell from the height it was at.

*COST*: the furniture is really expensive. I think a couch is $2,000. If it's
damaged, the ENTIRE BUILDING GETS CHARGED.

*DISRESPECT*: to the housekeepers who would have had to fix it on Monday
(two residents cleaned it up this morning). That is absolutely not part of their
job, and presents a danger to them too. It's also disrespectful of other
residents who would want to use the lounge and couldn't.

Also, although I was not here this weekend, I heard lots of word that it was a
VERY loud weekend. I know I sent out an email earlier, but I want to remind
you to please be aware of your actions and how it might affect others. We,
the RAs, are obligated to be strict on the noise policy. If violated, the loud
behavior may be documented.

That is all for now. I saw the apple-picking flyers posted around the building
for this Saturday. I hope to see you all there. Don't forget to sign-up early!

Email me or stop-by with any questions or concerns.

Smiles,

Colleen
