Tommy,
Have you tried U-stream yet? I've been participating with some edubloggers
(in the audience role) to educational leaders who are practicing with
U-Stream. There are more and more of them experimenting all the time. I
was in a ustream with Will Richardson lately and a few others since.
Will has been blogging with his U-Stream experiments since October
http://weblogg-ed.com/2007/10/
Scroll down to October 2 and October 4 for links and reflections from Will
about this tool.
This does not answer the pitfalls question, but there has been a lot of
conversation in the Educational Blogosphere lately about Ustream and lots of
experiments. I bet if you did a search you might find educators discussing
this very topic.
Let me know what you find.
