On Saturday, Roxanne Bogart and I birded in Charlotte and down into
Addison. Here's what we saw, the highlight being a long and excellent look
at a male Pileated Woodpecker working a tree at Cedar Beach in Charlotte.
Neither of us had ever seen the red in his black cheek stripe before.
