According to Ted Murin the latest (previous) seasonal record for
Semipalmated Plover in Vermont is 11/5/92. There is also a Nov. 3
record and several in late October. Arguably a plover here in
mid-December is at least as likely to be Ringed (or something else) as
it is to be Semipalmated.
