Just to add that there was a flock of about 15 waxwings in the top of the
maples across the road one afternoon last Monday. I noticed them when I
went out to shovel, but cannot say for certain whether they were Cedar or
Bohemian. My gut says they were Bohemian, though, because of their size
and the sense that they were sitting up straighter than I usually think of
Cedars sitting. I'll bring out the binocs for shoveling time next time! Ha!
Oh, and in my previous post, that should have read "hairy and downy"...the
'harry' was an easy slip, since we sort of call the pair Harry and
Harriette! ♥♥
