A tip from a friend alerted me to the barred owl I found. It was perched on a power pole and had been visiting my friend's yard. The list includes my yard birds plus those seen along Pearl St. .
The Cooper's hawk came rocketing through my yard scattering all; even the gluttonous gray squirrels were scared!
