Am embarrassed to ask about this but will ask anyway:

I believe I heard a Broad-winged Hawk this morning over the Enosburgh Town Forest, but #1 I did not see it, and #2 it seems wayyyy too late in the season for one. If it weren't for the fact that it is Dec. 23, I would say I'm 100 percent certain that's what I heard.  So, is it possible I heard a very late migrant? Or do I have to figure out another explanation?
