This morning Deerfield Rd. In So. Burlington was still extremely busy
with Pine Grosbeaks, maybe 75-100. Smaller numbers of Common Redpolls
and both waxwings were present too. A quick check of the area around
the UVM Dairy Farm along Spear Street did not yield a Gyrfalcon, but
consolation prize was a pair of very handsome Red-tailed Hawks and a
flock of 40-50 Snow Buntings.
