Green Mountain College campus today (Dec. 7th). One of my students, Lindsay Herlihy, spotted this bird gleaning in the birch trees near the main buildings shortly before noon today. I was at a meeting. She re-found the bird in the afternoon around 2:30, in some birch trees not far from the original location. We watched it for almost an hour. Not used to watching Prairie Warbler while hearing Pine Grosbeaks.
