Hello all,
I happened to meet Jim Mead at Shelburne Bay access this afternoon, and 
after looking at the ducks there (no rarities, but beautiful male hooded 
mergs as well as displaying Goldeneye were included), he left the parking 
lot and found a birding field guide and pair of glasses on the ground 
there. Unfortunately I think the glasses were somewhat damaged, presumably 
by a car running them over??
(Maybe these items were left on a birder's car, when they drove off after 
checking the bay.)

Anyway, Jim did his good deed for the day by taking these items to the 
Shelburne Police Station, and asked me to post this.
If anyone might know who these belong to, they can call the police station 
for arranging their return.
