Hello to all: (sorry for cross postings)
Thanks for the introduction Bill, and thanks to all the messages of support
from the field. I truly appreciate the community that exists around
education technology in Vermont. I know Bill has done much work in
supporting this community and thanks go to him for that effort. I'm excited
about working with him and Arlyn at the department.
I am also looking forward to the opportunity to be working with and
supporting the folks in the field that are doing the work to integrate
technology in our Vermont classrooms. I know we have much to do, especially
in the work around our Vermont GEšs, the future of Title IID funding and its
implications for our schools, and continuing to support some of the other
initiatives that exist already within the state. Išll be looking to all of
you in the field for a bit of input on how best you can be supported in the
work you do at your schools.
Išll be starting in a couple of weeks, and will be in touch at that point
when I have a new state email. I am excited about this opportunity and look
forward to working with you in this new role. Happy New Year to all.
