Re: the Zonare...
I have both the Smart cart and The Ultracart. Our Lab is considered a Nielsen Site, so we are able to get the latest technology as it comes out.
The latest upgrade on the Ultracart, which originally came with a 15 inch monitor, that only utilized a third of the screen,
Now the screen technology utilizes all 15 inches of screen and really puts it closer to the mark of rivaling the full size ultrasound systems, plus now there is structured reporting for those of us out there that have finally gone digital !!
I do not use the "Brain" of Zonare outside the cart, though it is built so you can.
Mind you this is our portable unit, we use a fleet of GE Logic 9's and a couple of ATL 5000 HDI (it is hard to say goodbye) so I didn't !
I used the newly upgraded Ultracart to perform a portable Hepatic / Portal venous scan on an extremely large patient and it scanned like a hot knife through butter !!
The pictures are awesome !!!
I strongly recommend this product especially as a portable system, to make it easy to get in and out of ICU's as well as spare the $300,000 ultrasound systems from
from unnecessary beatings.
The emails below are The Senior Applications Specialist, The Regional Sales Manager and Clinial Marketing Manager.
These three individuals as well as Zonare Company have bent over backwards for my lab as well as our Anesthesia Department who have three other Zonare systems.
