The magnificant pair of breeding plumage Canvasbacks were still in Shelburne
Bay at 8:30 this morning. This is a great opportunity for all to observe this
rarely seen in Vermont specie up close. They seem to be working the bay
left, right & center of the protruding rock @ the end of parking lot. When they
are feeding, they are harder to locate because they keep diving. Patience is
the key, and you will more than likely locate them.

Good Luck,
Jim Mead
