Spotted a good looking barred owl on top of the power pole at the Brandon recycling center yesterday morning at about 11:30.  The place was busy and the owl hung out for about ten minutes before flying off to the east.  It may have been the same bird Sue Wetmore spotted on nearby Pearl Street a few days ago.
