Larry,

On two weekends in December, I found large flocks (100+) of Bohemian
Waxwings in Charlotte, in the same general area between Spear Street
and Mt. Philo Road. In one case, they were toward the east end of
Bingham Brook Road, just down the hill to the west of the tight turns
in the road, actively feeding among the junipers or cedars. The other
time, they were resting mid-day in the top of a cottonwood toward the
west end of One Mile Road. There were at least 130 Bohemians in that
group.
