Hey All,
I received this email from Hannah today. I thought I'd pass it along.
Sounds like a great way to give back to the community. Happy 3-day
weekend!

Subject: Campus Girl Scouts Kick-Off
Looking for a way to give back to girls in the community and network
with other woman-identified students? Campus Girl Scouts is just the
place to do that. Previous Girl Scout experience *not* required.
Please join us for a kick-off night of sledding and hot chocolate on
Tuesday, February 19th at 7pm. Meet in front of Redstone Hall (next to
Southwick music hall) at 7pm. Hot chocolate and a brief info session
to follow at Redstone Hall at 8pm. Bring your friends, ideas, and
energy.
Social activities for members of campus girl scouts could include
skiing, camping, crafts (knitting?), and movie nights. It's up to us!
Some possible volunteer opportunities include leading after school
programs, running environmental badge days for 4-6th grade girls (with
the VIA program Sprouts), teaching a skill to a troop-- arts, sports,
outdoor activities, science and math, dance and using your talents in
a way that works for you.
Hope to see you Tuesday. Email Jenni at [log in to unmask] or Kae at
[log in to unmask] with questions or if interested but can't make it
Tuesday. Thanks!
