Does it really make sense to try to explain isolated events, dramatic as
a killing spree may be? The explanations offered seem never to establish
more than a potential, and one potential among many unrealized ones from
the same preceding chain of events.  Other isolated events occur minute
by minute but are not sorted out for an explanation. Somewhere in the
u.s. today someone who has been having her morning donut in Coffee Shop
A has suddenly gone to Coffee shop B. Why in the world did that happen?
