It's been 2 weeks since I updated the Web 2.0 conversation at VTCITE
... but looks like there are about 250 reads... so I'm going to assume
some of the reads are from the folks here. Wouldn't it be great if
you joined the conversation with a comment or two.. There are so many
great ideas here, and the folks at VTICTE (many not on this list)
could really benefit hearing some of the wisdom that is shared here.
My post there this week is at http://vtcite.org/node/1752
It is about how we can use Web 2.0 and Open Source as a two prong
approach to address two digital divide challenges. I've got over a
dozen hyperlinks to different resources and include an invitation for
you all to chime in with your suggestions of 'educational
applications" that can be served by types of products (commecial
products; web 2.0 application; open source software).. Won't you
add your own suggestions.
I noticed that the post on VTICTE by the GEOSS using Scratch would be
a great add..
This actually might be a perfect "pre conference" conversation to
Bryant Patten's announcement of the VT FOSSED conference.
Hope to see some of your suggestions as replies
