In March 2006 there was an interesting discussion on Muninet about pets
in the office. As I write this I'm looking at a large black lab who
belongs to one of our listers. He's a total sweetheart and is the
"official greeter" whenever he's here. I want to note, however, that
some people (including my husband) have severe allergies to cats and
having them in a public office can endanger public health.

Subject: pets in office
Hi everyone- A reporter from the BFP is looking to do a story on office
pets. Our cat is now deceased but I told her I would let her know if
any
other clerks in Chittenden County or close by had office pets. Can you
let
me know so I can relay to her. Our cat was quite a celebrity over the
years
and the public adored her!
