Today was a good day to check out Herrick's Cove. We got at least
three species of warbler (Yellow-Rumped, Palm and Nashville), and
possibly two more (we might have spotted a yellow and I think I
distinctly heard a black and white).
We also got Savannah Sparrows, a green heron, an osprey flyover,
multiple great blue herons, a kingfisher, many red-winged blackbirds
& grackles, song sparrows, american robins, black capped chickadees
and a single white-breasted nuthatch as well as a lone downy
woodpecker.
I have probably the best palm warbler photo I've ever taken, as well
as photos of the Osprey, some yellow-rumps, the savannah sparrows and
the green heron at:

Per Hector's request from last year I will note that all the Palms we
saw were the Eastern form. There were at least six of them, possibly
as many as a dozen.

We've heard that a million monkeys at a million
keyboards could produce the Complete Works of
Shakespeare; now, thanks to the Internet, we know
this is not true.
