Want to join us?  Mad Birders, led by Neal Harrington and Carl Bates,  is doing an all day Lake Champlain trip on Sunday, April 27.  We will leave Mad River Valley at 7 AM, will be at Goose Viewing Area at Dead Creek around 8:30 AM.  We will head south to Middlebury/Cornwall area in the afternoon.  Don't think we can top last year's Black-tailed Godwit, but you never know.

Yard birds this morning included first Goldfinch since last fall, Hooded Merganser, Kingfisher, Blue-headed Vireo, Yellow-rumped and Palm Warblers.
