At home this morning in Jericho: Female Northern Cardinal,
Chickadees and a Red-Breasted Nuthatch.
Then this afternoon we visited friends in Fairfield who are still
getting C. Redpolls every day.
On the way down River Road South, we spotted a dozen Am. Robins and
nine deer in a field,
After that, while headed down Buck Hollow Road, we spotted about 100
Am. Robins worming,
as well as a Red Fox.
Now, back at home, there are more Am. Robins in the newly opened back
yard. Snows have receded halfway across the yard.
