3 BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS were at Delta Park late this afternoon
(~5:30PM), including one "1st summer" bird. In addition, there was 1
pair of GREATER SCAUP, 1 pair of BUFFLEHEAD, 1 pair of RING-NECKED
DUCKS (the "ring" was very visible on the male when it was in good
light), one EASTERN PHOEBE, and one NORTHERN FLICKER, among many
Red-winged Blackbirds and Common Grackles.
