This morning while getting the paper, I was thinking to myself that it was
about time for Chippies to show up again, and just a few minutes later one
arrived at our feeder. In fact, there is one at the feeder right now as I
type this.
Last evening had a male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker browsing the Maple trees in
our yard. Also, two Red-tailed Hawks and another unidentified raptor thermal
riding north. One of the Red-tails had a crop so full that it looked like it
had swallowed a horse.

Wishful thinking on my part! CHIPPING SPARROW at feeder here in Danby.
"Chippies" are back, Sparrow and Chipmunk. Next will be the warblers, think
spring.
