In late March the Vermont Electric Coop put up a new nesting platform for  
ospreys along Rt 36 in Fairfield Swamp, just north of the road on the west side  
of the swamp. I reported this on VTBIRD.
 
The platform went up without a moment to spare. We now have active nesting  
activity going on, and two ospreys can usually be seen when driving along Rt 
36.  Parking is available at the Fairfield Swamp WMA parking lot if anyone would 
like  to observe.
