Yesterday morning a large mixed flock of blackbirds, first Evening Grosbeak in a long time, Northern Shrike in the yard.  The large flock of Redpolls is still here, one Hoary among them. This morning the first Song Sparrow is singing his heart out.

What as treat to visit South Hero Causeway yesterday - see open water and bare ground - first Killdeer, Great Blue Heron, and Osprey of the season.
