Hi,
I'm working with Boston Productions, Inc. on a gallery for the now under construction
Connecticut Science Center in Hartford, CT. This gallery is about the Connecticut River
and its shores, including the protected areas and wildlife that inhabit them. The focus of
the exhibit is to teach people the importance of the river in the past, the present, and the
future. It will feature who and what the river effects, why it is important to protect, how
some are protecting it through protected areas such as the Upper CT Important Bird
Areas Project and clean-up projects, and also how others can help the river and its
wildlife.
I'm in need of a variety of images to use in an audio & video exhibit for the gallery, and
am posting to see if anyone has some good quality pictures I could use for the exhibit.
Full photo credit would be given to you.
Image list: Wildlife- Merganser ducks, swan, red-winged blackbirds, blue heron, eagles,
and other birds inhabiting the river region. River and marshland animals like beaver.
People- Children and adults enjoying river wildlife, birdwatchers watching and taking
pictures. Also, Scientists and volunteers helping to create, clean-up, and protect the
Upper CT River Important Bird Areas Project.
If you have questions or pictures, I can be reached at [log in to unmask] You will be
contacted if we would like to use your photos and again you would receive image credit.
I look forward to seeing some great shots!
Thanks,
Jon Rutt
