There were many green-winged teals, about 4 or 5 pairs, on the flooded
lawn (or shallow pond) of the Water Treatment Plant by the Retreat 
Meadow.
The gate was closed of course; so you could only peer through the
chainlink fence. As I walked along the side of the fence to get a better
view, some Canada geese noticed me and flushed along with the entire 
flock
of g-w teals.
