When I swung back through the Marsh this afternoon, there was, in 
fact a pied-billed grebe hanging out near the beaver lodge, and there 
was also a pair of killdeer on/near the road.  I didn't have time to 
set up the tripod, so I didn't get any sort of decent photo of the 
grebe, but I got one which was clear enough to positively I.D. it.

Otherwise, it was just mallards and canada geese.
