I got a call from a person on the south side of Ludlow asking for help, they 
had found a owl in the snow on their way home from work and didn't want to 
get to close to it. We went to check and found a dead  Barred Owl , when I 
picked it up to move it out of the way I noticed that it was lighter then any 
Barred Owl I have ever held .  I think it had starved to dead also .
