There were 11 Northern Shovelers (7M, 4F) in the flooded field across from
the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters building this afternoon.
The Headquarters building is on Tabor Road off Route 78 in West Swanton.
Also seen here were large numbers of Green-winged Teal, American Black
Duck, and Mallard. There were also a few Gadwall mixed in. The water levels
are extremely high in this area.
