A male Scarlet Tanager was singing and foraging in the trees around our house
on 5/19 and 5/20. A flock of 22 Cedar waxwings was hanging around on 5/20.
One Indigo Bunting and two Brown Thrashers showed up today. Black-billed
Cuckoos have been lurking about since 5/15. Some of the residents on
Bonnyvale Rd seen on a daily basis include: Black and White Warblers, C.
Yellowthroats, Redstarts(found a nest today), Myrtle Warblers, Chestnut-sided
Warblers, Black-throated Green Warblers, Yellow Warblers, Balt. Orioles, Rose-
breasted Grosbeaks, Ruby- crowned Kinglets, Least Flycatchers, E. Kingbirds,
R-T Hummingbirds, House Wrens, Veery, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, Pileated
Woodpeckers, Hairy Wp., Downy WP., Chipping Sparrows, Catbirds, Cardinals,
Blue Jays, W.B. Nuthatches, etc.
