As many as 5 or 6 white-throated sparrows were feeding on the fallen sunflower seeds by my feeders, expect they'll move on all too soon.

I heard the beautiful "eo-o-lay" early this morning. Welcome back wood thrush! 

Also saw the first northern oriole in our yard.
