I'm at a similar elevation and lattitude to you and I had one below my
feeder on the 1st. Checking my data on ebird I see that I have had them here
as late as May 10th in the past. So I wouldn't draw any breeding conclusions

Subject: [VTBIRD] FOY Kingbird & Junco question
In Shoreham just this AM.
In addition to a nice group of white-throated, white-crowned and
chipping sparrows under the feeders, I've also still got at least
two juncos. Since my elevation is around 300 feet, I'm puzzled
why they would still be here. They couldn't be planning to nest
here in the lowlands, could they?
