From personal experience, I've found IBM - and Lenovo - to make
well-constructed/well-supported laptops. I own one, and have recommended
to others. This is NOT in a school environment. There, I've bought the
brand carried by the local PC business I rely on for support (Northeast
Computing Systems, Lyndonville).
