I am needing some help in IDing a mystery bird I saw on the Birds of VT
museum property. This bird was hanging out on steep bank above the creek
behind the museum. It was dark olive-brown above with a very clean
distinction between that and the pale underparts. It had pale legs and
unmarked flanks. Finally, this bird had a white eyebrow stripe. It was
tipping its tail directly up and down, with no circular motion. This
bird appeared to be loosely associating with a Louisiana Waterthrush
that nests in the area. Thanks for any comments anyone has.
